We depart Hanoi in the morning, leaving the city behind via quiet secondary roads that wind through farmland, villages and low mountain passes. By mid-afternoon, we arrive at Ba Be National Park for a relaxed evening by the lake.

A day of pure riding bliss. We navigate the high ridges and deep valleys of Cao Bang province, where every turn offers a new cinematic view of limestone peaks.

Today we ride to the Chinese border. Ban Gioc is one of the world's most beautiful border-crossing waterfalls. On the way back, we'll visit the hidden "Angel Eye" mountain.
Route: Cao Bang → Ban Gioc → Angel Eye
Vibe: Remote frontier exploring and natural wonders.
Highlight: Standing at the base of the thundering Ban Gioc waterfalls.
We begin our journey south, re-entering the lush canopy of the Ba Be region. This leg focuses on remote mountain trails and quiet ethnic villages tucked into the limestone valleys.

On our final day, we take a different set of backroads through the tea-growing regions of Thai Nguyen. It's a smooth, scenic run that eases you back into the energy of the capital.
